What is the RDL EU-RN02M?
The RDL EU-RN02M is a wall-mounted Dante or AES67 network interface that converts two network audio channels to balanced mic-level outputs on front-panel XLR jacks. Built for European installations, it fits a standard 60 mm deep EU electrical box using the included adapter plate. It is PoE powered and suits feeding microphone inputs on mixers, cameras, recorders or assistive listening transmitters from the network.
How does it work?
Two Dante or AES67 channels are converted to balanced mic level and delivered to the front-panel XLR jacks. Each output provides a nominal -45 dBu balanced for a network level of -18 dBFS, with a maximum output of -27 dBu. A software-controlled attenuator on each output adjusts in 1 dB steps to 63 dB, then off. Digital-to-analog conversion is 24-bit, and the module supports 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96 kHz sample rates. A green front LED confirms valid PoE power and synchronization to the Dante network. RDL specifies 20 Hz to 20 kHz (±0.5 dB) response and THD+N below 0.1%. A Q-SYS plug-in is available, and the module works with RDL network remote controls such as the RDL EU-NVC2 in the same EU format. It ships with a white front panel and cover plate plus a field-installable black front-panel laminate.
