What is the RDL EU-BTN21?
The RDL EU-BTN21 is a wall-mounted Bluetooth Dante interface built for European-style installations, bringing wireless audio from personal devices into a Dante or AES67 network. Stereo or summed-mono Bluetooth audio feeds two Dante network channels, and a return channel sends network audio back to the paired device. Its 45 mm x 45 mm chassis fits a standard 60 mm deep EU junction box and is PoE powered.
How does it work?
The EU-BTN21 places received Bluetooth audio on the network as two Dante or AES67 channels at 48 kHz and 24 bits. One Dante channel can be routed back to the connected device through Bluetooth for full-duplex conferencing or talkback. Pairing uses a single button with LED status indication, while RDL CONSOLE software customizes the module ID name, settings and mono/stereo mode. A Q-SYS plug-in is available for configuring the interface in a Q-SYS environment. Pairing, track selection and level are controllable in RDL CONSOLE, and track title and artist data are multicast to compatible devices. The module ships with a white faceplate laminate installed and a field-replaceable black laminate included; RDL notes the black cover plate is not included. For network volume control in the same EU form factor, pair it with the RDL EU-NVC2. US single-gang projects can use the RDL D-BTN21 instead.
