RDL DS-TPR2A – Format-A Two-Pair Stereo RCA Receiver, Stainless
What is the RDL DS-TPR2A?
The RDL DS-TPR2A is a Format-A two-pair receiver with unbalanced stereo RCA outputs on a Decora-style panel. It brings left and right audio sent over twisted-pair cable to a wall location for local equipment.
How does it work?
The left output is fed from pair B and the right from pair C of the Format-A cable, buffered to drive -10 dBV unbalanced phono jacks. Signal and power pairs pass through on RJ45 jacks, so more Format-A receivers can be daisy-chained on the run. The module can be powered remotely through the twisted pair or from a fused local input on a terminal block, and a blue LED confirms power. The DS-TPR2A uses a stainless steel faceplate to coordinate with RDL stainless Decora-style controls in commercial and industrial spaces. Pair it with a stereo sender such as the RDL TX-TPS3A and mount it in an RDL WB-1U wall box.
What are the key features?
- Stereo RCA outputs — Two -10 dBV unbalanced phono jacks deliver left and right audio.
- Pairs B and C — Left comes from pair B and right from pair C of the Format-A cable.
- Daisy-chain pass-through — RJ45 pass-through connects additional Format-A receivers.
- Remote or local power — Power arrives over twisted pair or from a fused local terminal block input.
- Power LED — A blue LED indicates the module is powered.
