RDL DS-RC4ST – 4-Channel Remote for ST-SX4 Audio Switcher, Stainles...
What is the RDL DS-RC4ST?
The RDL DS-RC4ST is a stainless steel Decora-style wall remote designed to directly control the RDL ST-SX4 4x1 unbalanced audio switcher. Four pushbuttons let users choose a source from the wall in meeting rooms, classrooms and commercial spaces.
How does it work?
The DS-RC4ST connects to the POWER and CTRL terminals of the ST-SX4 using a 3-conductor cable or a single shielded pair. At power-up source 1 is selected, and touching any other button switches to that source while a red LED marks the active channel. For stereo installations, the SLAVE output of the first ST-SX4 drives the CTRL input of a second ST-SX4. The remote draws 30 mA from a ground-referenced 24 Vdc supply and mounts in a standard US electrical box, with the CP-1S cover plate available separately.
What are the key features?
- Direct ST-SX4 control — The panel interfaces directly with the ST-SX4 audio switcher without extra hardware.
- Three-conductor wiring — A single shielded pair or 3-conductor cable carries power and control.
- One-touch selection — Four momentary pushbuttons select any of four unbalanced audio sources.
- LED channel display — Red LEDs show users which source is currently active.
- Matches RDL remotes — The Decora format pairs with other RDL remote controls and connector plates.
