What is the RDL DB-TPR1A?
The RDL DB-TPR1A is a Format-A single-pair receiver with a balanced XLR mic or line output on a Decora-style panel. It delivers audio carried over twisted-pair cable to a wall location where users connect external equipment.
How does it work?
A rear-panel switch set during installation selects which Format-A pair, A, B or C, feeds the XLR output, and a second switch sets mic or line output level. Signal and power pairs pass through on RJ45 jacks so additional Format-A receivers can be daisy-chained, and fused local power on a terminal block can feed all connected modules. A blue LED shows the module is powered. The DB-TPR1A has a black front-panel laminate for darker wall finishes and AV furniture. Use it with senders such as the RDL D-TPS1A or RDL TX-TPS3A, mounted in an RDL WB-1U wall box or standard US electrical box.
