RDL D-TPS1A – Format-A XLR Mic Sender with Phantom, White
What is the RDL D-TPS1A?
The RDL D-TPS1A is a Format-A single-pair sender with a balanced XLR microphone input and phantom power on a Decora-style panel. It sends a wall-plate microphone over twisted-pair cable to a remote Format-A receiver or system.
How does it work?
The XLR input provides IEC 24 V phantom and accepts both dynamic and condenser microphones, amplified by a studio-quality preamplifier with switch-selectable gain on the rear panel. A rear switch selects whether the signal feeds pair A, B or C, so it can share a cable with other single-pair or two-pair senders. Signal and power pass through on RJ45 jacks, and power arrives remotely or from a fused local terminal block input. The D-TPS1A has a white front-panel laminate with gray lettering that matches RDL Decora-style remote controls. Use it with receivers such as the RDL D-TPR1A or RDL TX-TPR1A, mounted in an RDL WB-1U wall box.
What are the key features?
- XLR mic input with phantom — IEC 24 V phantom supports dynamic and condenser microphones.
- Switchable mic gain — A rear-panel switch sets preamplifier gain for the expected mic level.
- Pair selection — The output can be assigned to pair A, B or C.
- Daisy-chain senders — Chain with other single-pair or two-pair Format-A senders on one cable.
- Remote or local power — Power runs over twisted pair or from a fused local input that feeds connected modules.
