What is the RDL DB-RBTP?
The RDL DB-RBTP is a Decora-style wall-mounted pushbutton remote in a black finish for the RU-BTLA Bluetooth audio receiver. It gives users a single button to start pairing, see connection status and disconnect a device in conference rooms, classrooms and presentation spaces.
How does it work?
Press and hold the momentary button until the blue LED flashes to make the RU-BTLA available for pairing. The LED glows steadily once a device is paired and dims 20 seconds later; a short press disconnects the paired device. The remote connects directly to the RU-BTLA over 3-conductor single-pair shielded cable or standard twisted-pair cable and takes its power from the receiver. One or two remotes can control a single RU-BTLA, so a room can have a button at each entry or lectern. It mounts in a standard US single-gang electrical box, an SMB-1B surface mount box, a DC-1B desktop chassis, or an RM-D3 19-inch rack panel.

- Blue status LED — The indicator is off when disconnected, flashes while pairing and stays on when paired.
- Powered by the RU-BTLA — No separate power supply is needed at the wall plate.
- Simple cabling — It runs on 3-conductor shielded or standard twisted-pair cable back to the receiver.
- Two remotes per receiver — Up to two RBTP remotes can control one RU-BTLA from different locations.
