Product Overview
The QSC QIO-PSU is an external 24 VDC power supply for QIO Series network I/O expanders. It powers QIO peripherals where Power over Ethernet is unavailable or where DC power is preferred, and supports the QIO daisy-chain power scheme so one supply can feed multiple adjacent units.
Product Description
QIO Series expanders can be powered by PoE or by 24 VDC, and the QIO-PSU provides that 24 VDC source for installations where PoE is not used. Because the QIO platform supports daisy-chainable DC power, a QIO-PSU can supply power to a group of QIO units sharing a single network switch port, which is useful when several quarter-rack peripherals are co-located. The supply connects to the 2-pin power Euroblock input on the QIO expander. It is compatible with QIO peripherals such as the QIO-ML4i and QIO-L4o.
