The QIO-ML4i provides four channels of analog audio input that are remotely configurable for microphone or line-level signals, with configurable impedance measurement that can detect connected devices and drive logic or scripted programming. It transports up to four channels of Q-LAN networked audio to the system processor over standard gigabit Ethernet, using DiffServ QoS, IGMP, and IEEE 1588 (PTPv2) for synchronization, with end-to-end system latency of 3.167 ms even across Layer-3 routed networks. The unit operates on PoE or 24 VDC and offers daisy-chainable power and Ethernet, so up to four QIO peripherals can share a single switch port when DC power is supplied. A quarter-rack-width, sub-1U chassis includes reversible steel brackets for under-table or on-wall surface mounting, and an optional rack tray fits up to four devices into a standard 19-inch 1U space. The QIO-ML4i is natively integrated into Q-SYS Designer Software for discovery, configuration, gain, metering, and routing.
