The PowerLight 3 platform combines the efficient PowerLight switch-mode supply with a flow-through, front-to-back air path and solid aluminum heat sinks for maximum cooling under sustained load. The rear panel provides balanced XLR male and female connectors for loop-through wiring, and DataPort support enables remote control via computer or external DSP-4 modules. Three selectable input gain settings (26 dB, 32 dB, or 1.2 V) match the amplifier to different signal chains, while detented gain controls with 1 dB steps, front and rear panel LEDs, and defeatable clip limiters give precise, repeatable setup.
