The RMX850a includes independent user-defeatable clip limiters to reduce distortion and selectable 30 Hz or 50 Hz low-frequency filters that protect loudspeakers from over-excursion and improve headroom in the mid and high frequencies. Front-panel gain controls and LED indicators for signal presence and clipping simplify setup, while each channel has dedicated DC and thermal overload protection.
