Product Overview
The QSC RMX1450a is a two-channel professional low-Z power amplifier rated at 500 watts per channel into 4 ohms, designed for live sound reinforcement and installed audio. In a 2RU rack-mount chassis, its two Class-AB output channels operate in stereo or mono-bridge mode on a standard 15-amp circuit. High-current toroidal transformers deliver low noise and stable performance when driving 2-ohm loads.
Product Description
The RMX1450a uses independent user-defeatable clip limiters to control distortion and selectable 30 Hz or 50 Hz low-frequency filters to protect loudspeakers and improve headroom. Front-to-rear cooling vents keep the amplifier stable under load, front-panel gain knobs and signal/clip LEDs simplify operation, and each channel has dedicated DC and thermal overload protection. Inputs accept balanced 1/4-inch and XLR connectors; outputs use Neutrik Speakon and touch-proof binding posts. Step down to the QSC RMX850a for less power, or up to the QSC RMX2450a for more.
