The MP-A Series builds on QSC’s long history of amplifier reliability while emphasizing efficiency and low total cost of ownership. The MP-A20V provides a single channel pair sharing 400 watts of combined power, distributable in any ratio between the two channels — useful when one zone needs substantially more power than the other. Class-D output circuitry and a switchmode power supply keep the amplifier in a single rack unit with low heat and power draw. A DIP-selectable load mode sets each channel to 4 Ω, 8 Ω, 70 V, or 100 V, and a switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter is available per channel. Power-saving auto-standby engages after 28 minutes of inactivity with seamless auto-ramp when signal returns, and a remote standby input plus an amplifier status output support integration with building and life-safety systems. The MP-A20V is designed to work directly with the MP-M40 and MP-M80 zone mixers.
