Product Overview
The QSC MP-M80 is a digital business music and paging zone mixer/processor for commercial distributed audio systems that require multiple sources, priority paging, and independently controlled zones. With 16 inputs and 8 zone outputs, it is the larger model in the MP-M Series, suited to multi-zone hospitality, retail, corporate, and institutional facilities. Onboard input and output processing, an automatic microphone mixer, and Intrinsic Correction loudspeaker voicings eliminate the need for separate DSP hardware. Configuration is handled in the MP Install app, with day-to-day control through MP Manage and MP-MFC wall controllers.
Product Description

The MP-M80 provides eight mic/line inputs and eight line inputs (dual phono jacks summed to mono) for a total of 16 sources, routed independently to eight zone outputs plus a music-on-hold output and a front-panel cue bus for auditioning. Every input includes high- and low-pass filters, parametric EQ, a gate, and a dynamics processor configurable as AGC or compressor. Any combination of inputs can feed any zone, and two inputs can be designated priority sources that duck program audio for paging or announcements. Output processing adds 1/3-octave graphic EQ, 12-band anti-feedback notch filters, comp/limiter, loudness, and up to 100 ms of delay, while a dedicated loudspeaker section provides factory Intrinsic Correction voicings for QSC loudspeakers plus a user 6-band parametric EQ with selectable Linkwitz-Riley or Butterworth filters at 12, 18, or 24 dB/octave. An integral stereo mixer with a gain-sharing automatic microphone mixer supports live reinforcement and conferencing. The MP-M80 supports up to eight MP-M40 companion-tier wall control and pairs with QSC MP-A80V amplifiers for a complete system.
