Product Description
The E118SW is a direct-radiating 18-inch subwoofer requiring an amplifier with a minimum of 800 W continuous (3200 W peak). It offers a frequency response of 37 Hz to 230 Hz (-6 dB) and a peak SPL of 133 dB. QSC recommends a speaker processor or DSP-equipped amplifier — such as QSC GXD or PLD amplifiers, or TouchMix mixers — to set crossovers, limiting, and EQ, with factory presets for live reinforcement, stage monitoring, dance music, and karaoke.
The rugged plywood enclosure is finished in black textured paint with a foam-lined perforated-steel grille. A threaded M20 pole socket and a speaker pole are provided for sub/satellite use with any E Series two-way full-range loudspeaker, and attachment points accept four optional casters for portable use.
