The QSC DPM-300 is a 10-channel digital cinema processor that combines all signal processing and monitoring functions for digital cinema sound in a single integrated unit — booth monitor, loudspeaker crossovers, and screen-channel amplification management. Building on the legacy of QSC’s DCM and DCP products, it is designed to work with QSC Digital Cinema Amplifiers (DCA) and features Intrinsic Correction™ tunings for QSC Digital Cinema Speakers (DCS). The DPM-300 optimizes loudspeaker performance while simplifying cinema sound system wiring and configuration, and is configurable for passive, bi-amp, tri-amp, and quad-amp operation with 2 or 4 surround channels (5.1 or 7.1).

Product Description

The DPM-300 provides ten digital inputs for 5.1 and 7.1 soundtracks plus HI/VI, analog inputs for film processors and non-sync and mic/line sources, master volume, and full 1/3-octave graphic EQ on every channel except the subwoofer. Its digital loudspeaker crossovers support three passive, bi-, tri-, or quad-amp screen channels, and a built-in booth monitor loudspeaker and headphone jack support engineering and QC listening. Control and monitoring are handled over Ethernet, including full SNMP support, with serial automation control via RS-232. A bypass mode routes audio around failed components to keep the show running, and Intrinsic Correction™ for DCS loudspeakers delivers optimal out-of-box performance and reduced setup time. The DPM-300 is compatible with QSC’s installed base of DCA cinema amplifiers and pairs with QSC cinema loudspeakers such as the SC-1150 screen channel.
