Product Overview
The QSC WL2102-w is a full-range WideLine line-array loudspeaker module for ballrooms, theaters, nightclubs, concert halls, houses of worship, and arenas. It offers open, natural sound and an exceptionally wide 140° horizontal coverage pattern.
A three-transducer design with two 10-inch low-frequency drivers and one 3-inch compression driver, it operates in bi-amplified or tri-amplified modes for flexible system design.
Product Description

The WL2102-w uses two 10-inch LF transducers and a single 1.4-inch-exit, 3-inch titanium-diaphragm neodymium compression driver. One 10-inch driver covers only low frequencies while the other extends through the midrange to the mid/high crossover, so a single midrange path keeps horizontal coverage wide and response smooth on and off axis into the diffraction-slot high-frequency section.
A patented multiple-aperture diffraction-slot waveguide provides the wide 140° horizontal coverage and a near-ideal vertical line source. Bi-amplification uses passive shading for reduced amplifier channel counts and simpler wiring, while tri-amplification controls low-frequency shading actively for maximum output and the highest sound quality. DSP presets are available on Q-SYS, the SC-28, and PLD and CXD amplifiers.
The ported trapezoidal Baltic birch enclosure includes a fully captive, integral adjustable rigging system with adjustable vertical splay for box-to-box arraying. For ground-stacked low-frequency support, pair it with the QSC GP218-sw.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between bi-amp and tri-amp operation?
Bi-amp mode uses passive shading of the low-frequency drivers for fewer amplifier channels and simpler wiring; tri-amp mode controls LF shading actively for maximum output and the highest sound quality.
How wide is the coverage?
The WL2102-w provides a 140° nominal horizontal pattern; vertical coverage depends on the number of array elements used.
What processing does it require?
DSP presets are available for Q-SYS, the SC-28 controller, and PLD and CXD amplifiers for correct system tuning.
What warranty and support come with this loudspeaker?
QSC loudspeakers are covered under QSC's standard limited warranty; refer to QSC's published warranty terms for the current coverage period applicable to this model. Creation Networks provides pre- and post-sale support for system design and integration questions.
