Product Overview
The QSC GP218-sw is a premium, high-performance rectangular dual-18-inch passive subwoofer for ground-stacked use in demanding touring and installed concert systems. It combines punch, deep low-frequency extension, and musical accuracy as an ideal companion to the QSC WideLine series and other professional sound-reinforcement systems.
For permanent installations, each cabinet includes sixteen threaded M10 inserts (four per side) for suspension, delivering the same sonic impact as the flyable WL218-sw at a more economical price.
Product Description

The GP218-sw uses two 8-ohm 18-inch woofers with double-layer spiders and triple-roll surrounds for extended, controlled excursion at extreme power. Each 4-inch voice coil is wound on a fiberglass former to resist deformation at high operating temperatures and is extensively vented to reduce power compression, while an aluminum demodulating ring lowers distortion.
It delivers a peak SPL of 140.5 dB (1 m) and low-frequency extension down to 27.4 Hz, with a 31.4 Hz to 240 Hz (±3 dB) response and a 4-ohm nominal impedance. Continuous power capacity is 1700 W with 3000–4000 W recommended amplifier power. The 18 mm Baltic birch plywood enclosure uses independent dual chambers and extensive internal bracing for rigidity and accurate reproduction.
Transport and handling features include four placed handles, an optional transport dolly, and a soft cover. Connections are dual parallel NL4 connectors, and sixteen M10 inserts support suspension in permanent installs. It pairs naturally with QSC WideLine line-array systems.
