Product Overview

The QSC KS118 is a high-output 18-inch active subwoofer driven by a 3600W Class-D amplifier, built for mobile entertainment, AV rental, event production, clubs, and performance venues. Its long-excursion direct-radiating driver delivers high sound-pressure levels and dynamic, musical very-low-frequency reproduction.

Onboard DSP with save/recall scenes, omnidirectional or cardioid modes, and a selectable DEEP mode lets integrators tailor and protect the system for each venue.

Product Description

The KS118 pairs an 18-inch long-excursion direct-radiating driver with a 3600W Class-D amplifier for high output and deep low-frequency extension. Onboard DSP saves and recalls variable delay and crossover settings while protecting the system, and two KS118s can be deployed in a cardioid arrangement that maximizes front output while minimizing energy at the sides and rear. A selectable DEEP mode extends response to extremely low frequencies.

The rugged painted birch enclosure features comfortable aluminum handles and four rear-mounted, low-noise heavy-duty casters for portability. A top-mounted M20 threaded pole receptacle accepts a 35 mm pole for vertical deployment with K.2 Series and other full-range loudspeakers.
