Poly Studio R30 – USB 4K Video Bar for Small and Huddle Rooms
The HP Poly Studio R30 is a USB 4K video bar for huddle rooms and small meeting spaces. As a USB-connected device, it works with any video application running on the connected PC or Mac.
The R30 pairs a 4K camera with a 120-degree field of view with Poly DirectorAI automatic framing — the camera identifies and frames active talkers without manual operator input. A multi-microphone array with beamforming captures voice across the room, and the integrated speaker provides full-duplex audio for two-way meetings. Plug-and-play USB connection, no driver install required.
The R30 is platform-agnostic by design: it appears to the host PC or Mac as a standard USB camera and speakerphone, which means it works with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, and any other video app the host runs. No firmware lock-in to a specific cloud platform. Management through Poly Lens cloud is available for fleet deployments.
Deploy the R30 in huddle rooms, small conference rooms, hot-desking flex spaces, and personal focus rooms. Best fit is rooms with up to six participants and table depths up to roughly 8 feet.
HP Poly positions the R30 as the entry tier of its Studio video-bar line — a single-cable upgrade over a built-in PC webcam, suitable for sites standardizing huddle-room hardware at scale.
