Product Overview
The Poly G7500 EagleEye IV 12x camera kit (83Z49AA#ABA) pairs the 4K UHD modular codec with a 12x optical zoom PTZ camera, a Poly IP tabletop microphone, and a Bluetooth remote, so a medium or large conference room can be brought online from a single part number. The 12x optical zoom is the reason to choose this configuration over a fixed video bar: in a deep boardroom the camera can frame a participant at the far end of the table without resorting to digital crop. The codec is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom and also supports H.323 and SIP calling for existing video infrastructure. A wall-mount kit and cable bundle are included, which keeps the install to one hardware pass.
Product Description
This kit is the classic modular room build. The G7500 codec handles encode and decode with H.264 AVC, H.264 High Profile, and H.265, delivering people video up to 4K at 30 fps and content input and output up to UHD 3840 x 2160 at 5 to 60 fps. Two HDMI outputs drive a people display and a content display, and a single HDMI input accepts a room PC or a presenter laptop. The EagleEye IV camera connects using the supplied HDCI camera cable and delivers full 1080p high-definition video with 12x optical zoom plus pan and tilt, giving an integrator real reach in rooms where the camera position and the far end of the table are 20 ft. or more apart.
Audio in this configuration starts with the bundled Poly IP tabletop microphone, which connects over standard Ethernet and draws PoE+ from one of the codec's three dedicated 10/100/1G LAN ports. Rooms that need more coverage add a second or third IP microphone array on the remaining ports, each with roughly 20 ft. of pickup range, rather than installing a separate DSP and analog mic runs. Poly NoiseBlockAI removes non-speech noise from the transmitted signal and Poly Acoustic Fence keeps voices originating outside the intended pickup zone off the call, both of which matter in glass-walled rooms adjacent to open-plan floor space.
For AV system designers the G7500 behaves like a component, not an appliance. It accepts up to three HDMI or USB cameras with source switching from the touch interface, exposes RS-232 and a REST API for third-party control processors, and supports USB device mode so the room can also run as a BYOM endpoint for a laptop. Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with MIMO and Bluetooth 5.0 are built in, media encryption uses AES-128 and AES-256, and management runs through HP Poly Lens. This kit does not include a touch controller, so most deployments add a Poly TC8 touch controller or the larger Poly TC10 touch controller for one-touch join. If the EagleEye IV is being mounted above or below the display rather than set on a credenza, specify the Poly EagleEye IV camera mounting bracket with the order.
Key Features
- EagleEye IV 12x Optical Zoom — True optical zoom with pan and tilt frames participants at the far end of a deep boardroom without the resolution loss of a digital crop.
- 4K UHD Modular Codec — H.264 AVC, H.264 High Profile, and H.265 encode and decode deliver people video up to 4K at 30 fps and content up to 3840 x 2160.
- Included IP Tabletop Microphone — The bundled array connects over standard Ethernet with PoE+ from the codec, so no separate mic power injector or DSP is required to bring the room online.
- Expandable to Three Microphone Arrays — Two additional IP arrays can be added on the codec's remaining PoE+ LAN ports, each covering roughly 20 ft. of pickup range.
- Poly NoiseBlockAI and Acoustic Fence — Keyboard noise, HVAC rumble, and out-of-zone voices are suppressed rather than gated, keeping far-end audio intelligible.
- Dual HDMI Output — Two outputs drive separate people and content displays, with one HDMI input available for a room PC or presenter laptop.
- Three Camera Inputs — The codec accepts up to three HDMI or USB cameras with switching from the touch interface for presenter-plus-audience room designs.
- Certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom — Native room apps run on the codec, with H.323 and SIP available for standards-based interoperability.
- Control System Integration — RS-232 and a REST API allow a third-party control processor to manage call control and source selection inside a larger AV system.
- Wall-Mount Kit Included — The kit ships with codec mounting hardware and a cable bundle, so the codec can be secured behind the display or in a credenza on the first pass.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a touch controller included in this kit?
No. This configuration ships with the codec, EagleEye IV 12x camera, IP tabletop microphone, and Bluetooth remote. Most commercial deployments add a Poly TC8 or TC10 touch controller for one-touch join and in-room control; the remote is workable for a simple room but is not what a scheduled meeting room usually standardizes on.
Why choose the 12x camera over the 4x version?
The 12x optical zoom gives real reach in deep rooms. In a boardroom where the camera sits at the display and the far end of the table is 20 ft. or more away, 12x optical zoom frames an individual speaker without the softness that comes from digital cropping. The 4x version is the right choice for shorter rooms where wide coverage matters more than reach.
How does the EagleEye IV connect to the codec?
The camera connects using the included HDCI camera cable. The codec supports up to three HDMI or USB camera inputs in total, so a second camera can be added later for a presenter-plus-audience room design with switching handled from the touch interface.
Can more microphones be added for a larger table?
Yes. The codec has three dedicated 10/100/1G LAN ports supplying PoE+, and supports up to three IP microphone arrays with roughly 20 ft. of pickup range each. Additional table arrays or ceiling arrays connect over standard Ethernet cabling with no external DSP or mic power injector.
Which video platforms does this system run?
The codec is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom and runs native room apps including Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams, RingCentral, GoToRoom, Dialpad, and BlueJeans. Standards-based H.323 and SIP calling at up to 6 Mbps covers interoperability with existing bridges and endpoints.
How does this integrate with a room control system?
RS-232 and a REST API let a third-party control processor drive call control, camera selection, and display routing. USB device mode over USB-C also lets the room operate as a BYOM endpoint when a visiting laptop needs to drive the call.
What mounting hardware is required?
The kit includes a G7500 wall-mount kit for the codec and a cable bundle. The EagleEye IV camera needs its own mounting solution if it is not sitting on a credenza; the Poly EagleEye IV camera mounting bracket is the standard option for attaching it to a wall or display.
What warranty and support coverage are included?
The system carries a one-year return-to-factory parts and labor warranty. Extended Poly+ coverage with advance hardware replacement is available separately; contact Creation Networks for the coverage tier that matches your room count and uptime requirement.
