Product Description
When Slim 5 racks are ganged side by side, the cabling between bays needs somewhere to live — and routing it loosely between frames invites pinched cables and blocked door swings. The 5CC29 cable chase kit solves this by adding a structured chase between adjacent 29 RU Slim 5 frames, making deliberate room for inter-bay wiring and power distribution. Front, rear, and top channels enclose the pathway, and the included mounting hardware attaches directly to the Slim 5 frame without fabrication. Because the chase establishes proper spacing between bays, racks fitted with it can still use doors and the split rear rail, accessories that tight direct ganging would otherwise compromise. This is the correct kit for 29-space frames such as the Slim 5 5-29; Middle Atlantic offers matching chase kits for other Slim 5 heights, so multi-bay elevations stay consistent regardless of rack size.
