The Meyer Sound Amie-Sub is a compact, self-powered studio and cinema subwoofer designed as the companion to the AMIE precision studio monitor, extending system response down to 22 Hz. This US 7.1 version is equipped with the 7.1 (DB-25) integration module, which adds bass management and a dedicated LFE input over industry-standard multi-pin DB-25 connectors for 5.1 and 7.1 configurations. A single 15-inch long-excursion driver delivers clean, punchy transients and a 124.5 dB linear peak SPL. It is well suited to immersive mixing and editing rooms.
Product Description
The Amie-Sub houses a single 15-inch low-distortion, long-excursion cone driver in an optimized bass-reflex cabinet, powered by a two-channel open-loop Class-D amplifier producing 1100 W peak. The installed 7.1 integration module provides DB-25 female input and output connectors for channels 1 through 7 plus LFE, using the industry-standard analog pinout. It supports 5.1 and 7.1 configurations with third-party high-quality 8-channel DB-25-to-XLR cables (not included) and provides bass management and LFE handling for up to seven AMIE precision monitors. It pairs naturally with the AMIE precision studio monitor and also complements HMS surround and UltraSeries loudspeakers. Additional Meyer Sound studio and cinema products are available in the Meyer Sound collection. Side 3/8-inch-16 mounting points accept the optional MUB-Amie-Sub U-bracket for ceiling mounting.
