Product Overview

The Meyer Sound 750-LFC is a very compact self-powered low-frequency control element for scalable low-frequency reinforcement in portable rigs and fixed installations. This no-rig configuration omits the QuickFly rigging kit, making it ideal for ground-stacked and pole-mounted deployments at a lower cost and weight. A single 15-inch long-excursion driver and an onboard class D amplifier deliver high continuous output with extremely low distortion. It is a natural low-frequency complement for Meyer Sound LINA, LEOPARD, and ULTRA Series systems.

Product Description

Meyer Sound 750-LFC 3100W 15-inch powered subwoofer, no rigging

This variant ships without rigging, which keeps cabinet weight at 89 lb and suits ground-stacked subwoofer arrays and pole-mounted pairings. The integral pole mount supports placing one or two LINA loudspeakers on top using the MUB-MINA/LINA U bracket or MYA-MINA/LINA yoke, or pairing with ULTRA Series loudspeakers. Inside, a two-channel open-loop class D amplifier rated at 3100 W peak resides in a single field-replaceable module. Units transport in stacks using the optional MCF-750 caster frame in the no-rigging version. For flown applications consider the rigging-equipped 750-LFC, or step up to the Meyer Sound 900-LFC subwoofer. Pair it with the Meyer Sound LEOPARD line array loudspeaker or browse the full Meyer Sound collection.

Key Features

  • 15-inch LF Driver — A single dual-coil, long-excursion 15-inch cone driver with 2 ohm nominal impedance produces high-output, low-distortion low frequencies.
  • Self-Powered Class D Amplifier — A two-channel, open-loop class D amplifier rated at 3100 W peak is housed in a field-replaceable module.
  • No-Rig Configuration — Without the rigging kit the cabinet weighs 89 lb and suits ground-stacked and pole-mounted deployments.
  • Low Distortion — THD, IM, and TIM measure below 0.02 percent for exceptional linearity and transient reproduction.
  • Integral Pole Mount — A built-in pole mount supports LINA loudspeakers above or pairing with ULTRA Series loudspeakers.
  • Caster Frame Ready — Compatible with the no-rigging version of the MCF-750 caster frame for transport in stacks.
  • RMS Ready — An optional RMS module reports all amplifier operating parameters to a host computer.

Typical Applications

  • House of Worship — Provides ground-stacked low-frequency reinforcement for worship spaces.
  • Conference Room — Adds controlled low end for high-quality presentation and media playback.
  • Multi-Purpose Room — Supports portable low-frequency support across varied events.
  • Auditorium — Extends low-frequency response for theatrical and presentation systems.

Competitor Comparison

Criteria Meyer Sound 750-LFC L-Acoustics KS21 d&b V-SUB
Amplification The 750-LFC is self-powered with an integrated class D amplifier in the cabinet. The KS21 is externally amplified and requires an LA-series amplified controller. The V-SUB is externally amplified and requires a d&b amplifier.
Driver Configuration It uses a single 15-inch long-excursion driver in a very compact cabinet. It uses a single 21-inch driver in a larger cabinet. It uses a cardioid-arranged multi-driver design.
Monitoring It supports optional Meyer Sound RMS remote monitoring of amplifier parameters. Monitoring is handled through the external amplifier and LA Network Manager. Monitoring is handled through the external amplifier and R1 software.
System Integration It integrates directly with LINA arrays using the shared MG-MINA/LINA grid. It integrates within the L-Acoustics Kara and Kiva ecosystem. It integrates within the d&b V-Series ecosystem.
