What is the Logitech Tap Scheduler 2?

The Logitech Tap Scheduler 2 is a 10.1-inch touchscreen scheduling panel that mounts outside a meeting room to show availability, display meeting details and let people book the space on the spot. It works with leading room scheduling platforms, including Microsoft Teams Panel, Zoom Rooms Scheduling Display, Robin, Appspace and Logitech Room Booking. Compared with the original Logitech Tap Scheduler, it adds a 1920 x 1200 anti-glare display, radar motion sensing, Wi-Fi 6 and is built on the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP). This listing is the Off-White finish; the same panel is also available in Graphite as 952-000295.

How does the Logitech Tap Scheduler 2 work?

Tap Scheduler 2 runs Logitech CollabOS and connects to the network over a single category cable that carries both data and Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af Type 1, Class 3), so the switch port must supply PoE or a PoE injector must be added. Once online, it runs the scheduling app your organization already uses and reads the room calendar from that platform. Highly visible LED status lights show whether the room is free or booked, from up close or down a long hallway.

Radar motion sensors wake the display as someone approaches and let it sleep when nobody is around, which saves energy and keeps the panel ready. The 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen runs at 1920 x 1200 with an anti-glare, oleophobic surface, so meeting details and the booking button stay readable in bright corridors. Glass, mullion and wall mounts are included in the box, and cables can route through the wall, down or to the side. Tap Scheduler 2 also works with existing Tap Scheduler mounts, so an upgrade can reuse hardware already on the glass or wall. The Off-White housing suits light walls, white door frames and bright glass corridors.

The panel pairs well with an in-room video system, such as a Logitech Rally Bar Mini, but it does not need one, so phone booths and non-video rooms can be booked the same way. Paired with Logitech Spot occupancy detection, Tap Scheduler 2 can show when a space is actually in use and auto-book or release the room when participants do not show; insights and auto-book and release require a Logitech service plan. IT teams manage the panel in Logitech Sync, Microsoft Teams Admin Center or Zoom Device Management, and auto-provisioning connects it to Sync and applies settings during large rollouts.

What are the key features of the Logitech Tap Scheduler 2?

  • 10.1-inch high-resolution touch display — A 1920 x 1200 IPS anti-glare panel shows room status and meeting details clearly outside the door.
  • LED room status lights — Highly visible LEDs show at a glance whether a room is open, even from down the hallway.
  • Presence-activated display — Radar motion sensors wake the screen as someone approaches and let it sleep when the corridor is empty.
  • Choice of scheduling platform — Tap Scheduler 2 works with Microsoft Teams Panel, Zoom Rooms Scheduling Display, Robin, Appspace and Logitech Room Booking.
  • Three mounts in the box — Glass, mullion and wall mounting hardware is included, with cable routing through the wall, down or to the side.
  • Works with existing mounts — Existing Tap Scheduler mounts stay in place when upgrading.
  • Single-cable PoE installation — One category cable delivers power and data to the panel.
  • Logitech Spot pairing — Occupancy detection from Logitech Spot enables auto-book and release of rooms (service plan required).
  • Enterprise management and security — Logitech Sync, MDEP, AES-128 full disk encryption and device attestation support managed deployments.
