Logitech Rally Camera Streamline Kit 991-000553 – Single-Cable PTZ Camera Kit for Hybrid Rooms

What is the Logitech Rally Camera Streamline Kit?

The Logitech Rally Camera Streamline Kit (991-000553) packages the Logitech Rally Camera with an extension kit that powers and connects the camera over a single category cable. It is designed for hyflex classrooms, lecture halls, training rooms and larger meeting spaces where the camera sits far from the PC or AV rack. The kit adds a wall mount, an NPT adapter and three wireless preset buttons, so presenters can switch camera shots without a remote. It is a USB camera solution that works with the conferencing or lecture-capture software on the connected computer.

How does the Logitech Rally Camera Streamline Kit work?

The Rally Camera is a PTZ camera with a 4K sensor, 15X HD zoom (5X optical, 3X digital) and a 90° diagonal field of view. Its motorized pan of ±90° and tilt of +50°/-90° cover a full room, and the camera streams 1080p at 30 or 60 fps to the host computer.

The extension kit has a Camera Side Base and a Control Side Box joined by one Cat5e or better cable, up to 100 m depending on the cable. That single cable carries both power and USB data, so no outlet is needed at the camera location. The Control Side Box connects to the PC or USB AV equipment over the included USB-C cable with a USB-A adapter, and the 48 V power supply sits at the control end.

The three Rally Camera Preset Buttons connect over Bluetooth Low Energy and mount on a wall or desk, so an instructor can jump between presets such as the lectern, the whiteboard and the class. A lock switch on each button prevents accidental changes. The angled wall mount fits a 2-gang box or standard wall, and the 1.5-inch NPT adapter supports pipe and ceiling mounting. Creation Networks designs the camera position, cable path and presets for each space.
