The Kramer TP-752T is an HDMI ultra-reach transmitter that sends 1080p HDMI signals up to 600m (2000ft) over any 2-wire cable. It outputs on a terminal block, an RJ-45 (CAT) connector or a 15-pin HD (VGA) connector, so legacy and long-distance cable runs can carry HDMI without new infrastructure. It is a long-distance HDMI extender transmitter for campuses, stadium-style venues and retrofit installations.
How does the Kramer TP-752T work?
The TP-752T takes an HDMI source and sends the 1080p signal, along with bidirectional RS-232, to the Kramer TP-752R receiver over a 2-wire link. Installers choose the connector that matches existing cabling: a 2-pin terminal block for common 2-wire cable, RJ-45 for typical long CAT runs, or a 15-pin HD connector to reuse legacy VGA cable.
An active, reclocking HDMI loop output lets the signal feed a local monitor or cascade to additional extenders or distributors. Bidirectional RS-232 extension lets a control system reach the display from the source end, or the source from the display end. No setup is required, and the compact fan-less MegaTOOLS enclosure surface mounts or fits two side-by-side in 1U with a rack adapter such as the Kramer RK-T2B-B MegaTOOLS rack adapter.
