The Kramer VS-44H2 is a 4x4 4K HDR HDMI matrix switcher that routes any of four HDMI sources to any or all of four outputs at 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, up to 18Gbps, with HDCP 2.2/1.4 compliance. It reclocks and equalizes every signal and adds smart auto-switching and Kramer Maestro room automation, making it a capable 4K HDMI matrix for multi-display meeting rooms and control rooms.
How does the Kramer VS-44H2 work?
The VS-44H2 lets any input appear on any combination of the four outputs, so multiple displays can show independent content or the same source. HDMI support includes deep color, 3D and up to 7.1 uncompressed audio channels as specified in HDMI 2.0. Individual EDID management per input captures and stores display EDID, and HDCP can be selected per input.
Smart switching detects active sources and acceptors and can automatically select inputs by priority or last connected. Kramer Maestro room automation provides an intuitive interface to automate meeting room elements, and up to eight preset configurations can be saved. An embedded pattern generator helps commissioning. Control is available from front-panel switching, memory, lock and EDID buttons, plus mini-USB, RS-232 and Ethernet ports; a USB-A port can power an external device. The 19-inch enclosure mounts in a 1U rack space.
