Product Overview

The K-Array Pinnacle KR102WP II is a white passive column array system built for architectural AV installations where the loudspeakers must blend into light-toned interiors. The package combines two white Kobra KK102 I stainless steel line array elements, two white Thunder KS1P I passive 12-inch subwoofers, a Kommander KA104 DSP amplifier platform, and the mounting hardware to assemble both stereo towers. As a passive stereo sound system for houses of worship, auditoriums, and commercial meeting spaces, it concentrates amplification and processing in a single networked amplifier for clean signal flow and centralized control. The result is full-range, high-intelligibility coverage from discreet white column speakers that respect the room's design.

Product Description

Each Kobra KK102 I column packs sixteen 2-inch neodymium magnet drivers into a one-meter stainless steel housing only 59 mm wide. The closely spaced drivers behave as a true line array: phase-coherent output, low distortion, and even level from near field to far field, which keeps speech intelligible across deep rooms without delay speakers. Selectable 8-ohm or 32-ohm wiring switches the column between wide and narrow vertical coverage, and the IP64 rating with EN 54-24:2008 compliance qualifies the columns for regulated public buildings.

K-Array Pinnacle KR102WP II white passive column array system with KS1P I subwoofers and KK102 I line array columns

Bass comes from two Thunder KS1P I passive subwoofers, each using a long-excursion 12-inch neodymium driver with a 3-inch voice coil for response down to 35 Hz and up to 134 dB maximum SPL. The Kommander KA104 drives the whole system with 4x2500 W at 4 ohms and onboard DSP loaded with K-array's matched speaker presets. Operators control the system from the K-array Connect mobile app, while integrators tune and manage it at scale through K-Framework3 over wired LAN, with vendor plugins available for Q-SYS, Crestron, and Control4 control processors. If your project calls for a dark finish instead, the identical system in black is available as the Pinnacle KR102P II, and the complete lineup is in our K-Array collection.

Key Features

  • Architectural White Finish — Columns, subwoofers, and hardware come in white so the system recedes visually in sanctuaries, galleries, and modern corporate interiors.
  • Complete Matched System — Two KK102 I columns, two KS1P I subwoofers, the KA104 amplifier, and mounting hardware ship together as a factory-matched package ready for installation.
  • Single-Amplifier Architecture — The Kommander KA104 supplies 4x2500 W at 4 ohms plus onboard DSP with dedicated presets, eliminating separate processors and simplifying the equipment rack.
  • Pure Array Intelligibility — Sixteen 2-inch drivers per column generate phase-coherent line array coverage that holds speech clarity at distance.
  • Adjustable Vertical Coverage — Selectable 8-ohm or 32-ohm operation per column changes the vertical dispersion between wide and narrow to fit the seating plan.
  • Compact 12-Inch Passive Subwoofers — Each Thunder KS1P I reaches down to 35 Hz with up to 134 dB maximum SPL from a portable polyurea-coated birch plywood cabinet.
  • Commercial Control Integration — K-array Connect app control, K-Framework3 network management, and published Q-SYS, Crestron, and Control4 plugins make the system practical to manage in a larger AV ecosystem.
  • Compliance for Public Venues — IP64-rated, EN 54-24:2008 compliant KK102 I columns support specification in government and assembly spaces with regulatory requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the white finish standard on every component in this package?
Yes. This SKU ships with the white versions of the Kobra KK102 I columns and Thunder KS1P I subwoofers. K-array also produces these speakers in custom RAL colors as a factory option; contact Creation Networks if your project needs a specific architectural color.

Do I need to purchase an amplifier or DSP separately?
No. The included Kommander KA104 provides all amplification and signal processing for the system, with K-array's matched presets for the KK102 I and KS1P I loaded onboard.

How does this system integrate with room control platforms?
K-array publishes plugins for Q-SYS, Crestron, Crestron Home, and Control4 that expose the KA104's controls to the building or room control processor, plus the K-array Connect app for direct operator control and K-Framework3 for system tuning over LAN.

Can the columns be wall-mounted instead of pole-mounted on the subwoofers?
Yes. The included hardware supports pole mounting above the subwoofers, and K-array offers wall brackets, floor bases, and fly hardware for the KK102 I when the design calls for separated column placement.

Is this system appropriate for spaces with voice evacuation requirements?
The KK102 I columns carry EN 54-24:2008 compliance, which supports use in projects that require certified voice alarm loudspeakers. Verify complete system compliance against your jurisdiction's requirements during design.

What warranty covers the KR102WP II?
K-array provides a 5-year manufacturer warranty on its products, and Creation Networks assists with integration planning and post-sale support for commercial installations.
