Product Overview
The JBL EON715 is a powered 15-inch two-way portable PA loudspeaker from JBL's EON700 Series, combining a custom acoustic package with advanced onboard DSP. A 1,300 W peak Class-D amplifier drives a 15-inch woofer and JBL 2414H-1 compression driver to a 128 dB maximum SPL, while a built-in 3-channel digital mixer, dbx feedback suppression, Bluetooth 5.0, and a backlit LCD make this active loudspeaker fast to set up and control. App control and an XLR pass-through give integrators flexibility for events, presentations, and portable reinforcement.
Product Description
The EON715 pairs a newly engineered acoustic package — a custom 15-inch woofer, JBL's 2414H-1 compression driver, and a redesigned high-frequency horn — with 1,300 W peak (650 W RMS) of efficient Class-D amplification. It delivers a 45 Hz–20 kHz (-10 dB) response, a 128 dB max SPL, and a 90° x 60° dispersion pattern for uniform front-to-back coverage. As a powered PA speaker, it includes a built-in 3-channel digital mixer with two XLR/¼-inch combo inputs and an XLR pass-through for daisy-chaining; all mono inputs sum internally and feed the pass-through, so true stereo uses two units. Pro-grade DSP adds parametric EQ, dbx Automatic Feedback Suppression, ducking, and speaker delay, all reachable from an on-speaker backlit color LCD or remotely through the JBL Pro Connect app. Bluetooth 5.0 supports audio streaming and control. The durable polypropylene cabinet with metal grille weighs 37.3 lb and includes a pole socket and handles. Add the JBL IRX115S powered subwoofer for extended low-frequency output.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the EON715 powered or passive?
It is a powered (active) loudspeaker with a built-in 1,300 W peak Class-D amplifier, DSP, and a 3-channel mixer — no external amplifier or processor is required.
How do I run a stereo pair?
All mono inputs sum internally and feed the XLR pass-through, so true left/right stereo requires two EON715 units, each fed its respective channel.
Can I control it remotely?
Yes. Settings are available on the backlit color LCD and through the JBL Pro Connect app over Bluetooth 5.0.
Can I add a subwoofer?
Yes. Use the XLR pass-through to integrate a powered subwoofer such as the JBL IRX115S for extended low end.
