Product Description

The JBL Control 128WT in-wall speaker uses a 200 mm (8 in) polymer-coated aluminum-cone woofer with a pure butyl rubber surround and a 25 mm (1 in) pure-titanium dome tweeter on a low-diffraction, swivel-aimable EOS waveguide that allows the highs to be steered toward the listening area. A high-slope crossover preserves natural midrange tonality, and the system reproduces an extended 30 Hz to 20 kHz range with a broad 180° x 160° coverage pattern. As a 70V/100V in-wall speaker, its built-in transformer offers 70V taps of 50/25/12/6 W and 100V taps of 50/25/12 W, with 8-ohm bypass for low-impedance use — giving integrators flexible loading for distributed systems. A screw-down Euroblock connector, included cutout template, and paint shield streamline installation, while the optional WB8 rough-in frame supports new-construction stud mounting.
