Product Overview
The JBL Control 128W is a premium 8-inch in-wall installation speaker, sold as a pair, for foreground music and clear speech in finished commercial interiors. Part of the JBL Control Contractor line, this 8-ohm in-wall speaker pairs a polymer-coated aluminum-cone woofer with an aimable titanium-dome tweeter for extended full-range output with minimal visual impact. It suits boardrooms, reception areas, retail spaces, and restaurants where loudspeakers should be heard but not seen.
Product Description
The Control 128W uses a 200 mm (8 in) polymer-coated aluminum-cone woofer with a pure butyl rubber surround and a 25 mm (1 in) pure-titanium dome tweeter on a low-diffraction swivel mount that aims highs toward the listening area. A high-slope crossover preserves natural midrange tonality, and the larger woofer extends bandwidth down to 30 Hz, reaching 30 Hz to 20 kHz overall. Power handling is 60 W continuous, 120 W program, and 240 W peak at 8 ohms. The paintable baffle and grille help the speaker disappear into finished interiors.
