It will let you take on 3D design projects, work in multiple pro apps simultaneously, and is certified for single- and multi-threaded software, including Bentley MicroStation, AutoDesk AutoCAD, GRAPHISOFT ARCHICAD, Vectorworks, Autodesk Revit, and SolidWorks, along with Adobe titles including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and XD. With a wide array of configurations and upgrades to choose from, this system is a good fit for custom solutions.

The Z2 G5 SFF is powered by a 10th Gen 3.3 GHz Intel Xeon W-1250 Six-Core processor that will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously and can be boosted up to 4.7 GHz. The 16GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM helps to ensure smooth multitasking and also allows the computer to quickly access frequently used files and programs. While the current memory configuration is 1 x 16GB, there are four 288-pin DIMM memory slots that will allow the RAM to be upgraded to 128GB, using a 32GB module in each of the slots.

For storage of your files, the 1TB Z Turbo Drive PCIe SSD has an M.2 2280 form factor, uses the PCIe 3.0 x4 bus, and offers quick access to your data. For additional internal storage, there is an extra M.2 2280 slot for an NVMe PCIe SSD, plus one 2.5" and two 3.5" drive bays. If you want to add external storage drives or other peripherals, the Z2 G5 SFF features one 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with 5V/3A of charging power, plus four 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, four 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, with one of the Type-A ports doubling as a 5V/2.1A charging port, and two 480 Mb/s USB 2.0 Type-A ports. The dedicated NVIDIA T1000 graphics card has 4GB of GDDR6 RAM, delivers a sharp, clear picture, and features four mini DisplayPort 1.4a outputs which support a maximum resolution of 7680 x 4320 @ 120 Hz.

Whether you are listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game, the integrated Realtek ALC3205-VA2-CG audio codec outputs high-definition audio and delivers higher fidelity than standard audio controllers. Connect to your network using the Gigabit Ethernet port, or install an adapter into the M.2 2230 slot for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The Z2 G5 Small Form Factor Workstation includes a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, and a power cord. It runs using a 450W power supply and the installed operating system is Windows 11 Pro (64-bit), although a free license for Windows 10 Pro for Workstations is available.
