Product Overview
RM 8 (4U, for TLP Pro 535M (portrait) and TLP Pro 1035M), part number 70-1335-32. The Extron RM 35 Series rack mount kits mount a TLP Pro 35 Series wall mount touchpanel into a standard 19 inch equipment rack. Placing the control interface on the rack front gives technicians and operators direct access to the control system without opening a room panel or carrying a laptop. Each kit accommodates a single touchpanel and includes all required mounting hardware. Three rack units are offered to match panel size and orientation: RM 7 at 3U, RM 8 at 4U, and RM 9 at 6U.
Product Description
Not every control interface belongs on a wall. Equipment rooms, broadcast racks, and portable production carts often need the touchpanel where the gear is, either for operator use during an event or for technician access during setup and service.
The RM 35 Series puts a TLP Pro 35 Series wall mount panel into a 19 inch rack with a finished appearance rather than an improvised bracket. The plate holds one touchpanel and includes all the hardware required for a secure installation, so nothing has to be sourced separately on install day.
Three variants cover the panel range and orientation. The RM 7 is 3U and accepts a TLP Pro 535M in landscape orientation or a TLP Pro 835M. The RM 8 is 4U and accepts a TLP Pro 535M in portrait orientation or a TLP Pro 1035M. The RM 9 is 6U for the larger TLP Pro 1535M. Choosing the right one depends on both the panel model and how the interface should be oriented in the rack elevation.
All three are finished in black to match standard rack hardware. Because they mount wall-style panels, they are specified alongside the wall mount TLP Pro models rather than the tabletop or Cable Cubby variants. Confirm rack depth clearance behind the plate for the panel body and its network connection during design.
