Product Overview
The Epson ELPLM08 middle-throw projector zoom lens is the Middle-Throw #1 interchangeable lens for Epson PowerLite Pro G7000 and Pro L Series large-venue projectors. With a 1.44–2.32:1 16:10 throw ratio, this Epson middle-throw lens (V12H004M08) is the shortest of Epson's middle-throw options and bridges the wide and standard ranges for auditoriums, houses of worship, and rental installs. It excludes the Pro L1500, Pro L1505, and Pro L25000 platforms.
Product Description
The ELPLM08 provides a 16:10 throw ratio of 1.44 to 2.32 and a 4:3 throw ratio of 1.47 to 2.38, with a 1.0 to 1.6x zoom for framing. As the shortest middle-throw option in Epson's Pro lens lineup, it covers mounting positions just beyond the wide-throw range, which is what makes it a common choice when a wide lens is too short but the standard middle-throw lenses reach too far. As an interchangeable lens it mounts on the same Pro G7000 and Pro L chassis that accept Epson's wide, standard, and other middle-throw lenses, so an integrator can match the optic to the room. It is compatible with Epson PowerLite Pro G7000 Series projectors (including G7000W, G7100, G7200W, G7400U, G7500U, G7805, and G7905U) and Pro L Series projectors (L1100U through L1405U and NL variants), excluding the Pro L1500, Pro L1505, and Pro L25000. For current Epson laser bodies that use the company's newer lens lineup, review the Epson EB-PU1008W and the Epson EB-PU2010B, or browse the full Epson projector lineup to confirm fitment. The lens ships separately from the projector.

FAQ
Which Epson projectors does the ELPLM08 fit?
It fits Epson PowerLite Pro G7000 Series projectors (G7000W, G7100, G7200W, G7400U, G7500U, G7805, G7905U) and Pro L Series projectors (L1100U through L1405U and NL variants). It excludes the Pro L1500, Pro L1505, and Pro L25000. Confirm your exact model against Epson's compatibility list before ordering.
How far does the projector sit from the screen?
With a 16:10 throw ratio of 1.44 to 2.32, a 10-foot-wide image needs roughly 14 to 23 feet of throw. This is the shortest of Epson's middle-throw lenses. Use Epson's throw calculator for an exact figure.
How does this differ from the other middle-throw lenses?
The ELPLM08 (Middle-Throw #1) has the shortest throw of Epson's middle-throw lenses; the ELPLM15, ELPLM10, and ELPLM11 cover progressively longer ranges. Choose based on how far back the projector must mount.
Is the zoom powered?
The lens provides a 1.0 to 1.6x zoom operated through the projector's lens controls; powered functions depend on the host projector model.
Which projectors does it not support?
It is not compatible with the Pro L1500, Pro L1505, or Pro L25000. For the Pro L1500/L1505, use a middle-throw lens that lists those models in its compatibility data.
Is the projector included?
No. The lens is sold separately from the projector body.
