Product Overview

The Epson ELPLM15 middle-throw projector zoom lens is the Middle-Throw #2 interchangeable lens for Epson Pro G7000 and Pro L1000 Series large-venue projectors. With a 2.16–3.48:1 throw ratio on up-to-8,500-lumen models, wide lens shift, and a native-4K throw range, this Epson middle-throw lens (V12H004M0F) gives integrators broad positioning flexibility for auditoriums, houses of worship, and projection-mapping rigs. It replaces the earlier V12H004M09 lens.

Product Description

Epson ELPLM15 middle-throw projector zoom lensThe ELPLM15 delivers a WUXGA/WXGA throw ratio of 2.16 to 3.48 on projectors up to 8,500 lumens, 1.57 to 2.56 on 9,000- to 20,000-lumen models, and 1.52 to 2.47 on EB-PQ Series native-4K platforms. A 1.0 to 1.6x zoom, 36.0 mm to 57.4 mm focal length, and an F-number of 1.8 to 2.35 round out the optics, and the lens weighs 4.2 lbs. Wide lens shift—vertical -67% to +67% and horizontal -30% to +30% on up-to-8,500-lumen models—lets installers place the image well off-axis without keystone correction, which is what makes this lens valued for stacked and edge-blended installs. As an interchangeable optic it mounts on the same Pro G7000 and Pro L chassis that accept Epson's wide, standard, and other middle-throw lenses. For current Epson large-venue laser bodies that use this lens family, review the Epson EB-PU2010B and the Epson EB-PU1008W, or browse the full Epson projector lineup to confirm fitment. The lens ships separately from the projector.

FAQ

Which Epson projectors does the ELPLM15 fit?
It fits Epson Pro G7000 and Pro L1000 Series projectors, with native-4K compatibility on the EB-PQ Series. Confirm your exact model against Epson's compatibility list before ordering.

How far does the projector sit from the screen?
With a 2.16 to 3.48:1 throw ratio on up-to-8,500-lumen models, a 10-foot-wide image needs roughly 22 to 35 feet of throw; the high-lumen 1.57 to 2.56:1 range shortens that. Use Epson's throw calculator for an exact figure.

How much lens shift does it offer?
On up-to-8,500-lumen models, vertical shift is -67% to +67% and horizontal shift is -30% to +30%, allowing significant off-axis placement before keystone correction is needed.

Is the zoom powered?
The lens provides a 1.0 to 1.6x zoom operated through the projector's lens controls; powered functions depend on the host projector model.

Does it replace an older lens?
Yes. The ELPLM15 (V12H004M0F) replaces the earlier V12H004M09 middle-throw lens.

Does it support 4K projectors?
Yes. On EB-PQ Series native-4K projectors the throw ratio is 1.52 to 2.47:1.

Is the projector included?
No. The lens is sold separately from the projector body.
