Product Description

The IMS3000 is an integrated media block IMB built on a single-board design for cost-effective, scalable digital cinema playback. It plays DCI-compliant SMPTE and INTEROP DCPs in JPEG2000, MPEG-2, and H.264 at 2K up to 120 fps and 4K up to 30 fps, with 60 fps on supported projectors and LED displays, at bit rates up to 500 Mbps and 12-bit 4:4:4 XYZ. Onboard video processing covers color-space conversion, deinterlacing, scaling up to 4K, HDMI 2.0 4K60 input with HDCP 2.2, Rec.2020-to-P3 conversion, and 4K-to-2K downscaling. As a cinema playback server, it can pair with an external CP950 or CP950A for audio up to Dolby Atmos, or be field-enabled for standalone internal processing of Dolby Surround 7.1/5.1 and Dolby Atmos rendering up to 64 speakers, including Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, and TrueHD with a high-resolution multi-rate EQ and internal crossover up to four-way loudspeakers. The server is offered with or without SDI inputs: the IMS3000-NB adds dual 3G-SDI inputs and supports Dual Projector Chase mode, the IMS3000-DS targets single-projector installs, and the IMS3-L-NB serves cinema LED wall applications.
