The IC8LPT pairs an 8 in. polypropylene woofer with a horn-loaded 0.98 in. titanium dome tweeter and a 2.5 kHz crossover for clear, wide-dispersion coverage. Its low-profile design fits tight ceiling cavities while retaining the acoustic output expected of a full 8 in. speaker. The multi-tap transformer provides 70V taps of 3.75W/7.5W/15W/30W/60W and 100V taps of 7.5W/15W/30W/60W, allowing precise SPL balancing across a distributed audio zone.

Connections use a single 4-pin 5 mm detachable terminal block with screw-down flanges and parallel pass-through, accepting up to 12 AWG wire for straightforward daisy-chaining. The IC8LPT is well suited to background music and paging in commercial interiors. For standard-depth ceilings, the Crestron Saros IC8T offers a deeper-bass alternative.
