The Crestron TSW-770/1070-RMB-2 is a retrofit mounting bracket that lets installers upgrade an older TPS-4L touch screen to a current-generation TSW-770, TSS-770, TSW-1070, or TSS-1070 series touch screen. It installs into an existing back box or wall cutout using the provided mounting hardware, eliminating the need to patch or tear out the surrounding surface. The bracket is built from metal mounting brackets and a cover plate for a clean, durable finish.
Product Description
Replacing a legacy touch screen often means demolition, drywall repair, and repainting. The TSW-770/1070-RMB-2 avoids that by reusing the existing wall opening or back box that previously held a TPS-4L touch screen. The metal brackets and cover plate align the new touch screen within the original aperture and conceal the transition for a finished appearance. This makes it well suited to retrofit projects where minimizing downtime and surface disruption is a priority.
The bracket supports both the 7-inch TSW-770/TSS-770 models and the 10.1-inch TSW-1070/TSS-1070 models, giving integrators flexibility on a single part number. All required mounting hardware is included. For TPS-4L conversions specifically, this RMB-2 variant is the correct retrofit solution; companion brackets (RMB-1 and RMB-3) cover other legacy panel families.
