It supports resolutions up to 4K60 with 4:4:4 color sampling, along with HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision formats, and complies with HDCP 2.3. A single USB-C cable from a laptop carries both display video and USB 2.0 data, simplifying user connection in BYOD and huddle environments. DM Essentials transmission distances reach up to 130 ft (40 m) for 4K signals and up to 230 ft (70 m) for 1080p, WUXGA, and 2K signals. EDID pass-through helps the source and remote display negotiate correctly.
