Product Overview

The Crestron HD-RXU-4KZ-202 is a DM Essentials 4K60 4:4:4 receiver and 2x2 auto-switcher that extends HDMI and USB 2.0 signals over a CATx cable from a paired DM Essentials HD-TXU-4KZ Series transmitter. It accepts one HDMI input and one DM Essentials input with automatic switching and drives two HDMI outputs to local displays. Supporting HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision along with HDCP 2.3, the receiver is built for conference rooms, classrooms, and codec-based collaboration spaces. It is powered by the included 24VDC power pack.

Product Description

The HD-RXU-4KZ-202 is designed to interoperate with a DM Essentials HD-TXU-4KZ Series transmitter such as the HD-TXU-4KZ-211-CHGR to provide point-to-point extension of HDMI and USB 2.0 signals over CAT5e or higher cable. Two inputs are provided with automatic switching: one local HDMI input with an associated USB 2.0 device port, and one DM Essentials input from the remote transmitter. Switching occurs based on the last connected input or assigned routing priority, with front-panel push buttons for manual selection of both inputs and outputs. The receiver drives two HDMI outputs and supports 4K60 4:4:4 video along with 5K Ultra-Wide 5120 x 2160 and 5K Super-Wide 5120 x 1440 resolutions. DM Essentials transmission distance reaches up to 130 ft (40 m) for UHD and 4K signals and up to 230 ft (70 m) for 1080p, WUXGA, and 2K signals. Two USB 2.0 host ports enable peripheral connectivity, and an integrated web server handles configuration and management. The unit supports CEC display control, EDID management, integration with a Crestron 3-Series or later control system, XiO Cloud service, and .AV Framework technology. Note that USB 2.0 data extension requires pairing with an HD-TXU-4KZ Series transmitter. For specifications not listed here, refer to the Crestron data sheet.
