Product Overview
The Crestron FT2A-CBLR-GR-CAT6 is a gravity cable retractor module for FT2 series FlipTop cable management systems, providing a retractable CAT6 LAN cable with a male RJ-45 connector at both ends. It uses a precision gravity-assisted track and pulley mechanism so the cable pulls out smoothly for use and drops back into the FlipTop when released. The retractor is passive, requiring no power or programming. It installs into a module slot of a compatible FT2 series FlipTop.
Product Description
The FT2A-CBLR-GR-CAT6 keeps a CAT6 network connection tidy and immediately available at the table. Its gravity-assisted track and pulley mechanism is housed in a narrow vertical enclosure that extends beneath the FlipTop chassis, allowing the cable to be drawn out for use and retracted out of sight afterward. The retractor terminates in a male RJ-45 connector on both ends for direct connection between a device and an in-table or under-table network feed. It installs in a compatible FT2 series FlipTop such as the FT2-202-MECH-PTL-B. Cable retractors are normally installed at the left or right end of a row; installing one in a middle position requires the FT2A-CBLR-BRKT-202 mid-row adapter bracket (sold separately). Installation requires 28-7/16 in. (722 mm) minimum vertical clearance below the table surface, with 2-3/8 in. (60 mm) horizontal clearance to either side for end-mounted retractors or 2-3/4 in. (70 mm) front-to-rear clearance for mid-row mounting.
