The DM-EXT-1021-1G-W KIT consists of an HD-TXC-4KZ-101-1G-W white wall plate transmitter and an HD-RX-4K-210-C-E surface-mountable receiver, providing a cost-effective multimedia presentation solution. The transmitter accepts one HDMI input at a 1-gang wall plate location, while the receiver adds a second HDMI input for a local source or an optional media presentation wall plate, yielding 2x1 auto-switching. Power is transmitted over the CATx cable from the receiver to the transmitter, so only the receiver power pack is required. For resolutions up to 2K the maximum transmission distance is 230 ft (70 m), and for higher resolutions up to 4K it is 130 ft (40 m). The receiver provides a single HDMI output with a built-in 4K scaler that matches the native resolution of the connected display, supporting input resolutions up to 4K60 4:2:0. Audio de-embedding feeds a stereo analog line-level output to amplified speakers or a sound bar. Onboard COM (RS-232), IR, relay, and Versiport I/O ports plus CEC over HDMI enable display and equipment control with or without a control system.
