What is the Christie M 4K+25 RGB?
The Christie M 4K+25 RGB is a 3DLP projector delivering 25,300 ISO lumens (22,500 ANSI) at 4K UHD+ 3840 x 2400, using a solid-state RGB pure laser optical system. It is the top of the M 4K RGB Series — same brightness as the M 4K25 RGB with the higher 16:10 resolution — in a 92 lb chassis that is the smallest and lightest fully omnidirectional 3DLP RGB pure laser projector in its class.
It ships without a lens so the optic is matched to the room.
Why this projector gets specified
RGB pure laser generates red, green and blue directly rather than converting blue light through a phosphor wheel, producing a substantially wider colour gamut. Christie quotes double the colour of the legacy M Series, which is why this class appears in museums, attractions and mapped installations where colour fidelity is the deliverable rather than a preference.
Electronic colour convergence aligns red, green and blue from the remote — on a truss- or ceiling-mounted unit that is the difference between a ladder and a button.
Field-replaceable laser optical system means the light source is serviced rather than the projector replaced, which changes the long-term economics at this price point.
4K UHD+ and when it matters
3840 x 2400 gives 240 more vertical pixels than standard 4K UHD, in a 16:10 aspect ratio. That matters where content is authored at 16:10 — much simulation, visualisation and data content is — or where the extra vertical resolution is genuinely used. Where content is 16:9 video, the standard M 4K25 RGB delivers identical brightness for less.
The honest test is what the source material actually is.
Lens compatibility
The ILS1 intelligent lens system accepts legacy Christie M, J and Crimson Series lenses, so a venue already holding Christie glass carries that inventory forward. Lenses are ordered separately — throw ratio is distance divided by image width, and lens shift range should be checked against mounting height at the same time. See the Christie lens range.
Where it is used

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this projector include a lens?
No. It ships as a no-lens body. The ILS1 lens system accepts legacy Christie M, J and Crimson Series lenses.
When is 4K UHD+ worth the step over 4K UHD?
When source content is authored at 16:10 — common in simulation, visualisation and data applications — or where the extra 240 vertical pixels are genuinely used. For 16:9 video content the M 4K25 RGB delivers identical brightness for less.
How heavy is it, and does orientation matter?
92 lbs, and it operates in any orientation. That combination is what allows truss mounting and unusual installation angles without a specialist frame.
Can the laser light source be replaced?
Yes. The laser optical system is field-replaceable.
Is a TAA-compliant version available?
Yes. Creation Networks confirms the current TAA part number and supplies country-of-origin documentation before you commit to a federal purchase order.
Can Creation Networks design and install it?
Yes. Creation Networks is CTS-D certified and designs, installs and supports projection systems nationwide — lens selection, throw calculation, rigging, blending and commissioning. Call 888-230-3661 or email sales@creationnetworks.net.
