The Chief PG1AW Projector Guard is a steel security enclosure finished in white, designed to fully enclose a ceiling-mounted projector and its mount inside a locked cage. It prevents theft and deters deliberate physical damage in commercial, educational, and public-access environments while blending visually with white ceiling infrastructure. Compatible with Chief’s RPA and RPM projector mount series (PG1–PG3), the PG1AW also attaches to 1-inch and 1.5-inch NPT diameter poles for RSM and RSA pole-mount applications. Product Description

The Chief PG1AW is the white-finish variant of the Chief PG1A Projector Guard. It is functionally identical to the PG1A in all respects, with the same steel cage construction, the same RPA and RPM mount compatibility, and the same security features—differentiated only by its white finish for visual integration with light-colored ceilings in commercial and institutional environments.

The cage’s adjustable front opening accommodates different lens positions without compromising structural integrity. The hinged door provides authorized access for lamp replacement, lens adjustment, or cable work without removing the cage from the ceiling. Like the PG1A, the PG1AW accommodates roll, pitch, and yaw adjustments while installed, so the projector can be realigned without dismounting the enclosure.

The PG1AW locks with security screws and supports optional padlocks for additional physical security. Chief’s PG4 model is compatible with the VCM and VCT series for different mount applications.
