It installs above suspended ceilings or in open structure and pairs with a centralized processor and 70V amplification.
Product Description
The DS1339W-TAA is the Trade Agreements Act compliant version of the DS1339W, built for projects where procurement requires TAA-compliant hardware. It houses a 5.25-inch driver mounted on axis to deliver even, wide-area dispersion of the masking signal. A convoluted, flame-retardant acoustical insert eliminates standing waves and metallic resonance for a smooth masking spectrum across the space. The loudspeaker installs above suspended ceilings or suspends within open structure, presenting a clean appearance with no exposed controls or wiring from below. Running on a 70V distributed line, this ceiling sound masking speaker connects to standard commercial amplifier zones and scales across large floorplates. It reproduces paging and background music alongside the masking signal on one distributed layer. The DS1339W-TAA integrates with a networked system built around the Cambridge DS3002 sound masking processor.
