Product Description
The BirdDog P240 is BirdDog's highest-zoom 1080p Full NDI PTZ camera, with 40x optical zoom in native scan mode and Super Resolution Zoom up to 40x in HD — ideal for large-venue production requiring tight coverage from a fixed camera position. The 8.5MP 1/2.5" Sony Exmor R CMOS sensor delivers 1080p at up to 60fps with a minimum illumination of 0.4 lux in high-sensitivity mode, suitable for low-light sanctuaries and event spaces. The balanced XLR audio input with 48V phantom power supports condenser microphones directly at the camera, simplifying audio routing in multi-camera setups without separate preamp hardware.
Each P240 in this bundle supports Full Bandwidth NDI® as well as NDI|HX2/HX3, SRT, RTMP, and RTSP, giving AV integrators full protocol flexibility on a single Gigabit Ethernet connection. The 5-line RGB OLED display provides at-a-glance camera status without connecting to the BirdUI interface. Bi-color full tally (overhead and rear, with included 1–3 number silicon plugs) provides talent-facing and crew-facing program/preview indication. Control via NDI auto-configuration, VISCA IP, and dual RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 RJ45 serial ports. Each camera is PoE+ (802.3at) powered.
