Highlights of the P240 include a 40x zoom, HDMI/3G-SDI output, full NDI 5.5 support, XLR audio input/output with phantom power, and an integrated ND filter.

 BirdDog P240 40X Full NDI PTZ Camera with HDMI/3G-SDI (Black)

The black P240 40X Full NDI PTZ Camera with HDMI/3G-SDI from BirdDog is a Full NDI PTZ camera that offers increased light sensitivity via its Sony Exmor 1/2.5" CMOS 8.5MP sensor while capturing sharp and vivid images in resolutions up to 1080p60. Output options include NDI, HDMI, and 3G-SDI as well as balanced XLR audio via an optional breakout cable. The camera features an integrated ND filter.

The IP output delivers Full NDI and other flavors of NDI, with optional BirdDog Cloud 3.0 integration unlocking access from globally connected, remote production locations. The IP address is visible via the integrated OLED display, which also displays the device name, stream name, resolution, and frame rate being used. The P240 supports Full NDI 5.5 for optimal compatibility across all NDI ecosystems.

 NDI Video Scopes The P240 can generate scopes to send out as NDI, NDI Proxy, or both. This allows for monitoring scopes on the NDI Proxy while sending a clean main NDI feed simultaneously. Choose from histogram, waveform, vectorscope, or RGB parade and the position on the NDI stream. 360° Mohawk Tally The innovative Mohawk tally gives a full 360° view, so you'll never be caught out wondering which camera you need to be talking to. NDI Genlock Select an NDI source to be the timing master to provide more predictable timing in multi-camera environments. FreeD for Free FreeD is a protocol for sending PTZ positioning data to AR/VR systems including Unreal Engine, Brainstorm, Vizrt's Viz Virtual Studio, and it's all built right into the BirdUI. Control up to 255 PTZ cameras on a single network with the ergonomically designed BirdDog PTZ Keyboard. The keyboard is compatible with NDI, NDI|HX, Visca over IP, RS-422, and RS-232 protocols, and can also be powered over those same connections as an alternative to DC-in power.

The keyboard features multi-colored and programmable buttons and knobs, and it has a joystick and rocker for zoom control. Control your PTZ camera's exposure, white balance, backlight, gain, shutter, focus, iris, shutter speed, and zoom with the touch of a button or the turn of a knob. You can also set up to 256 memory presets with different parameters and camera moves. The PTZ Keyboard is also compatible with NDI and BirdDog Comms Audio Intercom systems run from a Windows computer.
