The BirdDog Eyes P200 (White) is a Full NDI® 1080p PTZ camera built around a 1/2.8" Sony Exmor R CMOS backlit sensor and a 30x optical zoom lens. Designed for conference rooms, training facilities, houses of worship, and multi-purpose rooms, the P200 transmits Full Bandwidth NDI®, NDI|HX2/HX3, SRT, RTMP, and RTSP over Gigabit Ethernet — giving integrators flexibility to match the streaming protocol to the network environment. With simultaneous HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs, PoE+ power, and dual RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 serial control, the P200 integrates cleanly into both IP-based and traditional AV infrastructures.
Product Description
The P200 uses a 2.13MP 1/2.8" Sony Exmor R CMOS backlit sensor with a 30x optical zoom lens (4.3–129mm focal range) — one of the longest zoom ranges available in a 1080p NDI PTZ camera at this price point. With a minimum illumination of 0.01 lux in high-sensitivity mode, the P200 performs in low-light environments including dimly lit conference rooms and candlelit sanctuary settings. The F1.6 wide aperture further supports low-light image quality without increasing gain noise.
Unlike some NDI cameras limited to Full NDI only, the P200 supports Full Bandwidth NDI as well as NDI|HX2, NDI|HX3, SRT, RTMP, and RTSP — making it adaptable to installations where network bandwidth is constrained or where direct streaming to CDNs is required. Control options include NDI auto-configuration, VISCA IP, and dual RJ45 serial ports (RS-232/RS-422/RS-485) for integration with hardware switchers and control systems. Power via PoE+ (802.3at) or 12V DC. The white finish suits ceiling installations in conference rooms and multi-purpose spaces. Also available in black. Compatible with the BirdDog P-series wall mount.

Does the P200 support NDI|HX as well as Full NDI?
Yes. The P200 supports Full Bandwidth NDI®, NDI|HX2, NDI|HX3, SRT, RTMP, and RTSP. This gives integrators the option to use compressed NDI|HX in bandwidth-constrained environments while retaining Full NDI capability for production scenarios requiring maximum quality.
Is the P200 available in black?
Yes. The BirdDog Eyes P200B (Black) is available at a slightly lower price point.
What PTZ controller is compatible with the P200?
The BirdDog KBD PTZ Controller supports NDI, VISCA, and RS-422 and is compatible with the P200. The KBD's 5" multiview screen can display live NDI|HX video previews from P200 camera feeds.
What PoE standard does the P200 require?
PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) at up to 19.7W maximum. Standard PoE (802.3af) is insufficient.
What wall mount fits the P200?
The BirdDog P-series wall mount (white) is compatible with the P200, P100, and P400.
