The BirdDog P4K 4K Full NDI PTZ 3-Camera Kit (All White) includes three white BirdDog P4K cameras — the all-white configuration of BirdDog's flagship 4K NDI PTZ kit for installations where visual consistency with light-colored ceilings and walls is required. Each P4K is built around a 14.2MP 1" Sony Exmor R CMOS backlit sensor delivering visually lossless 4K Full NDI® with simultaneous 6G-SDI and HDMI, powered by PoE+. This kit suits flagship worship facilities, broadcast studios, auditoriums, and government spaces where both image quality and installation aesthetics are primary specifications.
Product Description
Each BirdDog P4K uses a 14.2MP 1" Sony Exmor R CMOS backlit sensor — the largest sensor class available in any NDI PTZ camera — providing substantially better low-light performance, dynamic range, and depth-of-field control compared to 1/2.5" sensor alternatives. The 12x optical zoom (18x SRZ in 4K, 24x SRZ in HD) and F2.8 constant aperture deliver consistent image quality from wide-room coverage to tight close-ups at the full zoom range. All three cameras transmit Full Bandwidth NDI® over Gigabit Ethernet and output simultaneously via one 4K HDMI Type-A port and two 6G-SDI ports.
Each camera is PoE+ powered (max 28W), includes RS-232/RS-422 serial control, bi-color tally front and back, 128 speed-adjustable presets, BirdUI browser configuration, and RESTful API support for Crestron, AMX, and Q-SYS integration. The all-white housing integrates cleanly with white-ceiling installations in sanctuaries, boardrooms, and multi-purpose rooms. Why choose the P4K kit over the P400 kit?
The P4K's 1" 14.2MP Sony sensor provides materially better low-light performance, dynamic range, and depth-of-field versus the P400's 1/2.5" 8.5MP sensor. Choose the P4K kit for productions where image quality is the primary driver and the installation budget supports it.
Does the P4K support NDI|HX?
No. All three P4K cameras transmit Full Bandwidth NDI® only, requiring approximately 140–200Mbps per camera on Gigabit Ethernet.
Is a PTZ keyboard included?
No. This kit includes three cameras only. The BirdDog KBD PTZ Controller is available separately.
What switch do I need for three P4K cameras?
Three P4K cameras at 4K generate approximately 420–600Mbps aggregate NDI traffic. A managed Gigabit switch with IGMP snooping, PoE+ budget of at least 90W, and a 1Gbps minimum uplink capacity is recommended.
Are other color configurations available?
