Product Overview
The Biamp Community CCA-80 is a three-way, full-range constant coverage aisle loudspeaker built for even, long-throw voice and music reproduction in large commercial venues. Its asymmetric horn-loaded design delivers a 6:1 throw ratio for extended, consistent coverage down aisles and long rooms, making it a common choice for worship spaces, auditoriums, and multi-purpose halls. It supports both 70 V/100 V distributed and low-impedance operation. This is the grey finish; a dual back-to-back version is available as the CCA-80D.
Product Description
The CCA-80 is designed to cover long, narrow spaces from a single loudspeaker position, projecting intelligible speech and program music from the front of a room to the far seats. It is a three-way triaxial design with an 8-inch (200 mm) low-frequency driver, a coaxial midrange compression driver, and a coaxial high-frequency driver, producing a full-range response of 115 Hz to 14 kHz. The asymmetric horn loading and 6:1 throw ratio maintain a consistent level along the coverage axis, which reduces the number of loudspeakers and delay zones needed in a distributed system. An onboard transformer supports 70 V and 100 V systems with multiple power taps (50 W, 25 W, 12.5 W, 6.25 W, and 3.125 W), and the loudspeaker can run low-impedance from a recommended 50 W to 100 W amplifier at 8 ohms. Where a single mount needs to cover a run in two directions, step up to the CCA-80D, and browse compatible amplifiers and system hardware in the Biamp collection at Creation Networks.
Key Features
- Three-way triaxial configuration — An 8-inch low-frequency driver pairs with coaxial midrange and high-frequency compression drivers for full-range output.
- Asymmetric horn loading — A 6:1 throw ratio provides extended, even coverage along aisles and long rooms.
- Full-range response — A 115 Hz to 14 kHz range supports clear speech and quality music reproduction.
- 70 V / 100 V distributed operation — The onboard transformer offers taps of 50 W, 25 W, 12.5 W, 6.25 W, and 3.125 W for constant-voltage systems.
- Low-impedance capable — The loudspeaker also runs low-impedance from a recommended 50 W to 100 W amplifier at 8 ohms.
- Constant coverage aisle pattern — Consistent front-to-back level suits large venues and reduces the number of loudspeaker positions required.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of spaces is the CCA-80 designed for?
Its constant coverage aisle pattern and 6:1 throw suit long, narrow venues such as worship aisles, auditoriums, and multi-purpose halls.
Can it run on a 70 V or 100 V system?
Yes. An onboard transformer provides taps of 50 W, 25 W, 12.5 W, 6.25 W, and 3.125 W for 70 V and 100 V distributed systems.
What amplifier power is recommended for low-impedance use?
A 50 W to 100 W amplifier at 8 ohms is recommended for low-impedance operation.
When should I choose the CCA-80D instead?
Choose the dual CCA-80D when one mounting position needs to cover a run in two directions while reducing amplifier and delay channels.
How does it fit into an AV system?
It integrates as a passive loudspeaker driven by a compatible commercial amplifier, with delay alignment handled in system DSP as needed.
Does it include a warranty and support?
Biamp products are backed by manufacturer warranty and technical support. Contact Creation Networks for current warranty terms and integration assistance.
